Hello Spring

The weather today is UNREAL. I am so excited for weather like this all the time. I have literally watched every episode of How I Met Your Mother ( the modern day Friends & one of the best shows ever, but I digress), cleaned the house and been stuck inside with this cooler weather but not anymore! I am excited for the Cherry Blossom Festival and days in the city, adventures and bright colors. I know Easter is close but I linked some of my favorite and more importantly, affordable dresses and skirts for Spring and Summer. In touching on this outfit, I am obsessed with every piece. I always find coupons when I shop here so I got it on sale! And this blouse is like $13!!! WHAT. It is the prettiest blouse I have ever owned. I wear it with everything and I have had it for years. You can’t see my shoes in this outfit, but they are from Target and they look just like Steve Madden knock offs but are way cheaper. Anyway, I linked all the details of this outfit below, along with some other pieces I have been loving for Spring! Thanks for reading, love all of you!!

Date Night

We had our first date night in the city over the weekend. I can’t believe how close I finally live to one of my favorite cities! We went to dinner and saw Matilda on broadway. It was still a little too cold, but I can’t wait for warmer days ahead so we can enjoy it a little more. We are really liking our new place, our new ward, etc. Our place has a million stairs, which at first was annoying, until I decided to add it into my workout routine. Our kitchen space is massive and our lovely couch we lugged all the way out here didn’t fit and we had to have it lifted in through the balcony…so that was exciting. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the living room but we like it. It has these really nice wood floors and a spare bedroom and bath for all our visitors. It’s missing a garbage disposal and an ice maker (oh the things you take for granted) but we will manage. My motto has been “everything’s smaller in Jersey,” because even the cabinets all seem smaller but I love our place none the less. Once our place is set up I’ll probably do a post for those interested. But anyway, I love this dress, like LOVE. It’s super flattering and modest and affordable, which is the biggest plus yet. I have some fun date night outfits coming this week. Happy Monday. I can’t wait to watch the Women Tell All. WoooIMG_5744IMG_5742IMG_5739 (1) IMG_5741 IMG_5743 (1)
