Waco

We took a couple days and did a mini little getaway to Waco. It was such a small, cute town. HUGE emphasis on small. We were surprised at how quickly we went from one side to the other.  We did so many fun things like the Dr. Pepper Museum, anything relating to Chip and Jo and more. We wandered around the Silos and took some pictures since it was closed on Sunday and there weren’t too many people. You can’t venture inside but we did that on Monday. For breakfast we ate at Magnolia table and it was so cute. I love how simple everything is and I would love for Jo to come and decorate my future home the same way. I loved it! We wandered cute little shops like Spice Village (it’s huge and my favorite) and the Findery, ventured to Cameron Park with Murphy to walk along the water, ate at Backyard Bar and Grill (the fried chicken slider was amazing! And the fries are just like Boardwalk Fries!), drove around Baylor University and went to the historic suspension bridge and the Magnolia Market. I really wanted to eat at George O’s because it looked amazing but it is closed on Sundays and we didn’t have time Monday. Waco has tons of museums such as the Mayborne, Texas Sports Hall of Fame, Texas Ranger Hall of fame and a cool Waco Mammoth site so there is a lot to do for such a small town. Here’s some of my favorite pictures from the trip. I had to resize them to fit and that got old. We are excited to go and explore Dallas next!

so in love with all of the little details!

The cinnamon roll and chocolate chip cookie were my favorites.
