Southern Road Trip

This year, my family spent Thanksgiving in South Carolina. My grandma passed away this year so my mom and my aunt have been doing a lot with her house. We got to spend a lot of time with my cute grandpa and eat my moms amazing pumpkin pie. Winning all around. It was pretty low key but we did see Daddy’s Home for the second time and I absolutely love it. I tried to see it again this week but Lyle has cut me off haha. After everyone headed back we spent a couple days heading down to Savannah and coming up through Beaufort and Charleston and it was a lot of fun until we cut it short because we weren’t feeling well. Most of my pictures are of beautiful homes and buildings. My “dream life” is down South and I was just in heaven. I first read about Beaufort in a Southern Living article years ago and I’ve been saving homes there on Zillow ever since. There is the most perfect neighborhood I have ever seen in my life and Lyle was nice enough to let me drive around in it for like an hour (I kid you not). Who doesn’t love a wrap around porch though?! A lot of our plans didn’t go accordingly this year because of so many things but I am glad I got to see more of the South.

I also shared some Christmas pictures I took for my sisters. It was kind of last minute and they really wanted to do them in front of my Grandma’s door but I think they turned out great.

Wormsloe Historic Site. I am pretty sure we have this exact picture at a place like this in Charleston but the trees down there are so dreamy.DSC_0998 DSC_1001

This little honey store was one of my absolute favorites! You can sample everything and I walked away with some for me and some for my dad for Christmas- we both LOVE honey.1230

reason enough to move to the South. Served warm and gooey these cinnamon roll biscuits were life changing. They also have amazing blueberry ones. From Bojangles or “Bobos”…what I screamed out every couple miles when we saw one. <3
