Hello Baby

My sisters had babies 5 days apart. To say that I am in love would be the biggest understatement of the year. I have loved snuggling Harper everyday for the past week and keep pretending she’s mine. It was amazing to see so much of the birth process (and honestly a little disturbing) and now I think Lyle and I are gonna wait a little longer to have kids. Hahaha. They are both healthy and perfect and our family is wrapped around their tiny fingers already. I’m glad I have babies to spoil and take pictures of and have sisters that give me far too much control. For the record, baby pictures are the hardest pictures I have ever tried to take. Partially because I don’t have my own studio and our dogs, who are obsessed with the babies, would not get out of the pictures, Harper was fussy and then she peed on us when we tried to get those cute naked curled up ones. I have so much respect for newborn photographers and lots of practice ahead of me. I hope to have my space where I can have the best lighting, backdrops and props. That would be pretty sweet. Anyway, after three weeks, I am finally going to see my new home!
